Hi,
I have been trying to install open office 2.4 and I could use some help.
I have a emachines computer
Intel Celeron CPU 2.92 GHz
C: Drive has 70.2 Gb Free
XP Home edition SP 2
1GB ram
When I try to install Open Office 2.4 it goes along ok for a while copying
files and all that stuff, Then it stops and displays a box.
OpenOffice.org 2.4 Installation Wizard
error 1402. Could not open key!
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Classes\.html\Open
WithProgIDs. Verify that you have sufficient access
to that key, or contact your support personnel.
OK
Then when I click OK it removes what it has done.
I do not know what it is talking about, or what to do about it.
I have various anti spyware and antivirus programs.
Ad-Aware
AVG Anti Virus
Spybot-Search and Destroy
SpywareBlaster
SuperAntiSpyware
Zone Alarm Fire wall
Windows Defender
Any help would be appreciated.
