Webster expresses no opinion; it just defines both versions.

Merriam-Webster gives the "non-e" version as standard and the "e" version as
the alternative.

The OED gives the opposite - judgement as standard and judgment as
alternative.

Seems WordPerfect and whoever wrote the Wiktionary entry were brought up
using Merriam-Webster ;-)

As a Brit I'd have spelt it with the "e".

You could always add an auto-correct entry to your OpenOffice configuration.
Interestingly (?) there's already one converting "jugment" to "judgment";
you may decide to change that one too. Not sure how to delete words from the
spell checker but you can add them when they are picked up as errors. I
think you'd need to add the e-version so that the auto-correction doesn't
get picked up as an error.
