You remove it in the same way that you would remove any other software you
installed. On Windows Control Panel>Add/Remove Software. On a Mac, drag the
software into the trash can. On *nix, not sure.

Seems a shame though. OpenOffice competes very well with Microsoft Office.
Many people think it does a better job than Microsoft Office. Perhaps if
you'd like to explain your difficulties we might be able to help.

How do I go about getting my $47.00 reversed on my credit card...Taken off!

By asking the company you paid and/or your credit card company.

It is not clear to me why you paid for OpenOffice when it is available
completely free from <www.openoffice.org>. When I say free, I mean exactly
that. It is free to download, to use on as many computers as you like and
to give to others to use under the same conditions. You and others may use
the software in any context you like - personal, commercial, education etc.
all for free. Technical support is also free via this e-mail list which is
run by users who volunteer time to help other users. There are also other
technical support groups, mostly free. Most of the documentation including
tutorials, "getting started" guides and specialist articles are also free.
If you prefer to pay you can buy books, technical support and software on CD
but ...
