why 17203 hasn't been closed already. I think that implementing a
resolution for that issue would break the logic of page styles usage.
Once you learn that you need to insert a break manually
Writer could do this little service for its users.
(which by the
way is exactly what you have to do in MSO where the break is a section
break)
MSO inserts break automagically if you select "Apply to - this point
forward".
