To be bluntly honest, I'm not inclined to start a new issue
regardless because, besides being a newbie to the process, I did a lot
of work to be sure I wasn't duplicating anything and failed anyway
because IMO of syntax. It took an inordinate amount of time working
through the process properly which was disappointing. But that part is
my problem; sorry about the vent.
I will check my archives to see what I can find though. As before,
this current problem seems to be only appearing for me so if I'm alone
in the problem, it shouldn't be reported either; which is one of the
things I hoped to hear about. There must be others trying to use Master
Documents, especially as improved over anyone else's capabilities as OOo
is.
I no longer consider OOo to be an MS Office "replacement". It has
surpassed that and stands on its own merits now. IMO at least. But ...
as with all code ... <g>.

1. Feel free to start new issues anyway. When you miss one, well,
apologize and move on. I have entered numerous bugs, many of which have
been fixed because I opened a bug. Some were duplicates. I just did not
use the proper search text.
2. If you have example documents that can be inserted to demonstrate the
error, it is MUCH easier for them to fix. Even if you have a duplicate
issue, when they provide the duplicate issue number, then attach your
documents demonstrating the errors to that issue as well.
3. It is precisely this level of detail (that you have done) that helps
to resolve these types of issues. You may be new entering bugs with OOo,
but clearly you know a lot about this sort of thing.
