[users] OpenOffice.org 2.4 will not close

I opened an attachment in an e-mail from a friend and ended up with  
OpenOffice.org 2.4 on my computer and the program will not close.  I  
cannot turn off my computer or switch to Windows in my Mac.  Please  
advise.
