Welcome to the OpenOffice users mailing list. Note that you can get
more people to read your post if the subject line of your post is
concise. Putting a whole paragraph there makes things hard to read.
The X11 that comes with Leopard is not complete yet, and we
recommend installing the open source Xquartz package to fix many X11
problems. The 2.2.1 version of Xquartz is available here: http://
trac.macosforge.org/projects/xquartz/wiki/X112.2.1 . Download and
install the package then log out and back in again. Actually, it
sounds to me like it might be beneficial for you to reboot beforehand.
