Maybe you should mention what catalised your decision to leave. Don't
sugar coat, be blunt. Quote offensive emails.
Although I do not use the Base component, I know that you are one of
the more helpful list members in answering questions concerning that

I felt the same way.... I'm not sure I understand why our friend Drew
would leave the list. I'd wondered if maybe I'd said something which
offended him.... I trust not.
