at cetain moment have to give command:
TEMP_ROOT> for i in ../openoffice.org*.rpm;
do rpm2cpio $i | cpio -id; done
this give the result:
cpio: You must specify one of -oipt options.
problem found :-)
I typed
TEMP_ROOT> for i in ../openoffice.org*.rpm;
do rpm2cpio $i | cpio - id; done
(note the space before 'id')
