Yes of course and thank you for that correction.

I dare say that most native English speakers would make the mental transformation of meaning naturally, from context. Perhaps not so for those for whom English is their 2nd or 3rd language.

An unintended consequence, perhaps, of "live" spell checkers in everything - the act of proofing what I type anymore ( for this type of correspondence at least ) is often a simple scan for flagged words. ;<) that is as good an excuse as I can come up with at the moment anyway.
