Hi, All, While I try to use open office in my Macbook (Leopard 10.5.3), I have problem after it is start up. I download the openoffice 2.4 (X11) and run it. The X11 is run, and then the "command timeout" appear. And then I click OK. And then the Openoffice appear at the upper-left corner of the screen. But in the File menu, I can only see the "Use Startup Screen", and don't see how to open a file. From the "About OpenOffice 2.4", don't see the version information, instead, I saw something like: "This is an executable script saved as an application. You can view or edit this script by choosing Edit Script from the Edit menu". I wondering if I download the correct program. I download it from
http://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors//openoffice/stable/2.4.0/OOo_2.4.0_MacOSXIntel_install_en-US.dmg By the way, it is no problem when I download and run the Aqua version. Thanks. Jinzhi.
