That is a problem that was known to exist in X11 on 10.5.2. We were certainly hoping it would be fixed in 10.5.3, but apparently not. For now, try installing an updated X11 server from here: http:// xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/X112.2.1 . I also recommend keeping an eye on the xquartz site for a new version in the next week or two. Otherwise, you're free to keep using the Aqua version.
