Hello. I tried downloading openoffice.org again. I saved it to my desktop.
Now, when I try to run it, (by clicking on the icon,) the following message
appears:
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This
could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus. You may
want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.
Does anyone know what this means? I did notice something unusual while
it was downloading. Everytime the little cartoon piece of paper traveled
across the page from the earth to the folder, a red explosion cartoon would
appear near the folder, as if it was blocking it. Does that mean that my
computer is blocking the download for some reason and is there something I can
do to turn this block off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure
what to try next. I am really anxious to use openoffice. Thank-you.
