Yes, that will bring it to people's attention - although those here 
are mainly ordinary users with varying experience, so may not be able 
to address the problem.

I see you are subscribed to the list (or you'd not have seen my own 
question :-) ), so you'll get to see whatever replies people are 
able/prepared to offer.

If you get no replies to your query it usually means no-one feels in 
a position to advise. It may /possibly/ be worth rephrasing the 
question, making sure you've been clear and that there is an 
informative subject line, and resubmitting the question.

There are other users' email lists for different languages in case 
anyone is not comfortable with English. However, I see the link on 
the web site (http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html#native) 
appears to be broken.

If you still have no luck, I suggest you try the web site at 
http://support.openoffice.org/, where further avenues for help are 
offered.
