Dear Sir,

I am planning to use the source code of Open Office for doing a very easy to
use Open Office Writer based Telugu word processor. Telugu is an Indian
phonetic language. It has 16 basic vowels and 36 basic consonants.

Tens of thousands of compound characters are formed by permutations and
combinations of basic owels, consonants, and the secondary symbols of vowels
and consonants.

All the text inputting can be done by assigning only basic vowels (16) and
consonants (36) to the keyboard. At present they boards have basic characters
as well as secondary symbols.

At present most of the Telugu type faces are in 8_bit ASCII code. Can I use
those type faces to embed my amendments into the Writer part of the Open Office
source code?

I will appreciate any information that you can provide.

Thanking You
