o Select the relevant table and go to Edit | Edit... (or right-click
| Edit). This opens the Table Design window.
o Select the relevant field.
o If necessary, select the field type and use the drop-down menu to
choose a new type.
o If necessary, modify the parameters in the Field Properties area
at the bottom.
o Save the changes.
