That is a great document, and I will read through the wiki more. I
don't remember when it was, but I've looked at the wiki in the past
and was unimpressed.

From what I've read, $ could be used to match the end of the
paragraph, however, with what to replace it? Even the wiki calls OOo
behaviour nonstandard, which I take to mean non-PCRE as there is no
real standard so far as I know.
