Yep, "stuff" is there in page preview. And yes, I've been exporting to PDF and printing it using evince, but that's a pain... Things have gotten even weirder as I do a little more experimenting. This particular calc file has 2 or more sheets. The first sheet, if I were to print it, takes 2 pieces of paper. I don't ever want to print that worksheet. I typically only want to print the second sheet (even if there are more than 2). So I select print, then select the "range" option (which is pages, not sheets) and enter 3 in the box next to range. Nothing happens. I also tried with a 2 instead of 3 in the event that some mis-typed "page" when they meant sheet, but again nothing came out of the printer. HOWEVER... I just made a copy of the calc file, deleted all but the first 2 sheets, and did a print and chose the "all" radio box. The printer started whirring and (anyone care to guess what came out?) the 2nd worksheet printed, but not the first. So, I tried the following... select the second sheet, print, choose the "current" radio button and nothing came out of the printer... -- +-------------------+---------------------------------------------------+ Bruce Bowler | Don't question authority, it hasn't got a clue.
