I am trying to use Impress to run a presentation from a script (under linux).
What I need is to have Impress stop completely when the presentation ends instead of exiting to the edit screen. Is there any way to do this? For a variety of reasons, I find magicpoint is the best program for showing songs in church, but I am wanting something with a bit more interest for notices. The script that I use is as follows: mgp -F 0,0,0 ../songlist.mgp /opt/openoffice.org2.4/program/soffice.bin -show Notices.odp mgp -F 0,0,0 ../songlist.mgp The ideal is for openoffice to completely quit when the operator presses "Esc" and to then re-start magicpoint, ready for the next song. Having OO go to the edit screen, then requiring the operator to click the exit button is a bit of a distraction. The IR receiver on the projector is broken and so we can't just turn it off easily. -- God bless you, Keith Bates www.new-life.org.au If you don't have a reason to live JESUS IS THE ANSWER!
