No, I don't think it is. Hiding an unwanted column doesn't
help. Possible workarounds are:
o copying the formatted values back to replace the originals (if
appropriate), or
o placing the original values on another sheet of the spreadsheet,
or - looked at another way - copying the values which actually need
to be saved to another sheet. This second method relies on the fact
that saving as .csv saves only a single sheet of the spreadsheet.
It depends on exactly what the OP wants ...
