Hello Shay As others already pointed out, you wrote to an OpenOffice.org users list, where volunteers that use the program try to help out other users about how OOo works. If you paid for OpenOffice.org and/or for support to use it, we would very much like to know who sold you the program and/or who makes you pay for support that we here at the list provide. OpenOffice.org is available for free from the official website, http://www.openoffice.org (for Mac see http://porting.openoffice.org/mac) and consult the documentation at http://documentation.openoffice.org If you paid for the program, you can try to get a refund from the seller, but be informed that selling OOo is not illegal in itself, provided certain rules are obeyed (see the LPGL licence that you accepted when installing OOo on your Mac). If you paid for support, I propose you contact the seller of this support and claim that they provide it, or refund. We at [email protected] do not see any money... As for your printer problem: • please specify which machine you have (iMac, Powerbook, Macbook - G3, G4, G5 (PowerPC) or Intel), which version of the operating system (Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4 or 10.5 - Panther, Tiger of Leopard), which printer (and connection). • what version of OpenOffice.org did you install, with or without the X11 windowing utility? • does your printer work with other programs on your Mac? I suppose it does. Then you can save the work you do in OpenOffice.org as PDF (from OOo's main menu, from the File menu, or from the Print menu), then print the PDF file from Apple's Preview (or from Adobe Reader). I know it's not the shortest way, but it will help you get your work done while we try to sort out your problem. • what exactly are the steps you go through when trying to print, and do you get any (error) messages?
