I can't help you with your problem, as I don't use a Mac. However, you
didn't have to pay for OpenOffice, as it's a free download from
www.openoffice.org. You paid your money to someone who charged for
something that is available for free. I'd recommend you stop payment,
if you can, and then get OpenOffice only from www.openoffice.org.
