I have Debian Lenny GNU/Linux with nary a Microsoft product in sight, and not a sniff of ActiveX. And I use Konqueror as my default web-browser. Moreover, I refused all cookies from this site. I had no problems at all either with connecting to the site mentioned or with clicking through to OneNote.
