Assuming you're running Windows, there should be an OpenOffice folder &
icons in your Start menu. Use the icons to start the various
components. In your case, you're looking for the word processor, called
"Writer". There may also be a small icon located near the right end of
the task bar. Right click on it to see the available choices.
