Marnie Black You haven't told us which OS (Operating System - eg. Linux, Mac, Solaris, Windows, etc.) you are using, but since is normally an issue for inexperienced Windows users. It would seem that you have successfully installed OOo (OpenOffice.org). In which case, you will find the OOo programs in your "Start -> All Programs/Programs -> OpenOffice.org 2.4" menu. The download/install process, together with notes about creating you own desktop icons and deleting the installation folder, are explained here: http://www.tutorialsforopenoffice.org/tutorial/Download_2_4_1.html Dave -- This is a mailing list which exists to support users of OpenOffice.org All answers are given by other users who volunteer their time.
