First the good news -- I have finally managed to build OOo-2.4.1 rpms for 64 bit Fedora8. I used the Fedora9 src.rpm but had to remove the "--with-system-hunspell" directive from the ./configure line in the spec file to get it to build properly. The spell checker works fine despite this, but for some reason the Thesaurus does not. The thesaurus option simply appears "greyed-out." Permissions on the thesaurus files in /usr/lib64/openoffice.org/share/dict/ooo are fine.
