Steven Maddox (Cyorxamp) increased personal carbon footprint by exciting
electrons the world over with these memorable words:

> Hi folks,

> My first message here, got problems using Images in my documents...
> sounds basic... maybe not.
>
> Best way I can describe, is with an example...
>
> In OOo.Draw or OOo.Writer...

> Say I have an image which is 600x400 pixels, which is a 3:2 aspect
> ratio, and I use "Insert | Picture | From File..."
> I find that if I use the corner points around the edge to resize, it
> skews the image instead of maintaining the aspect ratio of 3:2.
> I would only really expect that from resizing from the four straight
> edge side points.
> So in OOo.Draw I would "Right Click | Position and Size", then alter
> the Height or Width, while 'Keep Ratio' is ticked, this way it keeps
> the 3:2 aspect ratio.
> Or in OOo.Writer I would "Right Click | Picture" go to the 'Type' tab,
> tick 'Keep Ratio', and alter the Height or Width, this way it keeps
> the 3:2 aspect ratio also.
