In the Equation Editor one can set the text of the entire equation
with Format -> Font Size. This adjusts the font size of the entire
formula. I am adding units to my formulas, like this: F=m*a F [N] =
m*a [kg*m/s^2] The units are way too large, but they must be in the
same formula with the formula itself. How can I make the font size
of the units smaller, while preserving the font size of the equation?
There is a "size" operator in Math: it's under Attributes in the
context menu. If you start your formula with something like:
F size 6 [N]
you will see the effect. The full technique is left as an exercise
for the reader!
I trust this helps.
