I have installed OpenOffice on Vista, though not on virtual machine.
The last few Windows versions of OpenOffice have been optimized for
Vista.
To James Knott: Ironically, it seems MSFT is abandoning VIsta for a
newer version, rather than iron out all the bugs and other problems that
are embedded in Vista, and they are continuing support for Windows XP
for a few more years, to boot! What a crazy world computer programming
is! :-)
