Hi Marcello,

it looks ok now - the dump does not show any trace of mem leak. See f you get the out of mem error again or not.

Bogdan

Hi Bogdan,
from 13/06/07 when i started the 1.2.1 version on the server it is still alive, anyway i made a dump of the memory of one process that you can found at:

http://82.193.22.211/openser_1.2.1_memory_dump.txt.bz2

can you check if the memory leak is still present ??
Let me know if you need some dumps of other process. This one is the second that i see in ps ax output.
Thank you,
Bye,
Marcello

Hi Marcello,

the second file shows the same leak as the previous one. Go ahead and try the 1.2 version (from the file you mentioned) and let me know if the problem disappeared.

Hi Bogdan,
i left the system to crash another time before change to latest version of openser (now running 1.2.0 from source). I got another memory log of the system just in case you need it for more debugging.

You can found it at:

http://82.193.22.211/log_memory_debug.txt.bz2 (475476 Bytes)

Sorry but this time i didn't got the time to make separate files for each processes. Now i got the openser-1.2.x-svn-20070608-221101.tgz file, compiled with memory debug options
and waiting for what will happen.

I heard from others on the mailing list that there were similar problems of memory leak.
Do you think this version will solve the issue?
Thanks,
Bye,
Marcello
