Hi,

lets assume that i have a running system and i already did a yum groupinstall
"Virtualization*". Then I have a completely running kvm system with virtual
machine manager and so on. What do I have to do to add this host to ovirt? Can
you explain the steps?

Regards, rene

Rene,
Standard bootstrap assumes base OS is installed, with access to relevant yum
repo in order to fetch vdsm and dependent RPM's. From this point of view, we
concentrate on VDSM, while kvm is simply a kernel module which should be
loaded. Anything beyond will probably cause manual intervention as you just had.
