Hi Raul, The storage domain type is determined from the Storage Domain meta data. If your storage domain was previously an FC Storage Domain, the import process will read this from the meta data and import it as an FC Storage Domain.
This behavior should be changed so the storage type will be determined by the user instead from the meta data, I've opened a bug on this issue for 3.5, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1157240.
