Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) Is a port of oVirt 4.5 to Oracle Linux.
However, OLVM 4.4 and 4.5 are only supported on Oracle Linux 8. -----Original Message----- From: Diggy <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 12, 2024 11:56 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [ovirt-users] Re: New oVirt release ??? What would it take to nudge this project (oVirt Node and hosted-engine) towards Rocky Linux 9 or maybe Alma Linux 9? Rocky is committed to the full 10-year life cycle of RHEL. Whereas CentOS Stream 9 ends when the "full-support" cycle of RHEL ends and RHEL's maintenance-only begins. This means that CentOS Stream 9 will EOL in early 2027; just three short years away. Maybe someone's arm at Rocky can be twisted to push oVirt in their direction. Thoughts? --- On 6/28/2024 3:48 AM, Sandro Bonazzola wrote: > No, current engine appliance is still el8 based.
