Rebasing Node on AlmaLinux ( https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-node-ng-image/issues/49) and RockyLinux ( https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-node-ng-image/issues/46) is something that was already being planned. It's just a matter of someone working on it. Config files for both are already there: https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-node-ng-image/tree/master/data You can try building it locally with `build.sh` and check its current state.
