Hi, after closer inspection of the pdf's, I've found the cause of the problem. The problem is that the overlay pdf uses a matrix which transforms the origin to another corner and page.Rotate=0. the other pdf uses a matrix which is based on page.Rotate=90. After searching the web I found out, that someone else had the same problem and has proposed a customization for v1.7. If I customize the matrix for the overlay it works.
It would be helpful if classes in the pdfbox project like Overlay would supply some extension points.
