in PDFBOX-3729 might reproduce the problem with a real printer. I
couldn't reproduce it with the Windows PDF and XPS printers.
7 years ago I could reproduce it with the CIB PDF brewer but I no longer
have that one installed.
However I was able to reproduce it with the virtual printer of
PDF-XChange ( https://www.pdf-xchange.com/ ) which I use sometimes
because it can display structure trees in the free version.
After that worked, I also tried the initial file
("SAMPLE_Bad_Prints.pdf") and I get the effect too.
We have so many troubles with printing: 😬
