The add command establishes a connection between 2 brokers. This is required in order for federation to work, and is done implicitly if you don't already have a link when you run "route add," "queue add," or "dynamic add."
The del command removes a connection between 2 brokers. The list command lists the broker-to-broker connections that a given broker has.
