I tested the new instructions, all works for me, 2 caveats: - I didn't test FreeBSD - The instructions refer to proton 0.7 which isn't released yet. Proton 0.6 in the same install prefix (as per INSTALL instructions) worked fine for me (ran the interlink tests and python_swig tests). Should it be changed to 0.6? I know 0.6 annoyingly puts some stuff under /usr instead of your install prefix but that doesn't seem to be a problem as far as building & running qpid.
