I wasn't sure if you weren't still working on the combo box. I downloaded a new SDK last night.
I've been playing with it and have managed to get it to format close enough to what I need. I have found that I can't control the selectedIndex properly when it starts up. I tried setting the selectedIndex=-1 on the control and on applicationComplete. Using the describeItem function,etc. from the Jewel example I can see on startup that the selectedIndex=-1 and selectedItem is null or undefined. I select something and I get the proper values. But if I refresh the browser the selectedIndex=-1 and selectedItem is null or undefined BUT the combobox input text doesn't go away.
