We use the maven plugin:
mvn \
org.apache.sling:maven-sling-plugin:install-file \
-Dsling.file=./${PACKAGE}-${VERSION}.jar \
-Dsling.url=http://${SERVER}/system/console/install \
-Dsling.user=${SLING_USER} -Dsling.password=${SLING_PASSWORD}
There is, perhaps, a more elegant way, in which case I'm all ears.
