I understand this is complex so here is a hopefully clear explanation:

With TB 2:
- SOGo Connector provides the CardDAV and GroupDAV addressbooks functionality + ACL handling for CalDAV calendars - SOGo Integrators provides "integration" with SOGo and implements 2 aspects of that integration: - it make uses of certain non-standard DAV requests for handling subscriptions and access rights to calendars/addressbooks - it provides a mean for a sysadmin to automate the installation of certain extensions (related or not to SOGo) and to "push" certain configuration settings
- Lightning provides calendaring ability to Thunderbird

With TB3, the only difference is that the ACL code, initially in SOGo Connector, has been moved to the Inverse edition of Lightning as this code really pertains to calendaring.

Please note that we are likely going to merge SOGo Connector and Integrator in the future to reduce confusion and for the sake of the sanity of our happy customers :).
