Hi,
I have finally set up local MySQL authentication on my SOGo install,
having originally held off on it because I was waiting for 1.3.5a's SHA
encryption mode, then other matters became more pressing.
It appears to be working as far as logging into the SOGo session -- I
can log in using a username and test password, and it shows just the
accountname at the top of the mail folders pane. However, it then
evidently fails authenticating against IMAP, according to my Dovecot
logs. If I use the same username/password in a mail client configured
for IMAP, it works -- so Dovecot is taking the password just fine.
Does SOGo try to pass the SHA1-hashed password to IMAP, or does it pass
the password that was presented to it at the login prompt? How would I
work around this, if that's the way SOGo passes authentication?
Thanks!
