Hi,

I am using the same setup. I understood the 'public' address book was LDAP related, so I create a generic user, and shared it with all other users. You can even define if some users have read-only privileges or can maintain the address book. Just create a new user, connect to SOGo with this new user to generate automatically the SQL tables. Share the resource (address book and even the calendar), and then you can start using it.

Hello

This sounds like a stupid question, but scouring the list archives and docs I can't find it; how do I add contacts to the 'public' address book that everyone has access to ? Its read only as a default.

I should add when not using LDAP, but using SQL sources and using vers 1.3.7 ?
