BTW -- make sure to restart iCal.app between each lookup since iCal caches the
free-busy search response for a while ..

I does work on my setup with iCal.app 4.0.4. There's no magic trick. The only
known issue is iCal's pickiness about the case sensitivity of mail addresses in
the query *and* response.
Try to sniff the traffic on your sogod port (probably 20000) and post the
server's response to the free-busy query.
