I think, the direct way over imap would be the better and fastest
solution.
What I see, MAPI in SOGo is (only) a "shell" arround the configured
imap server, so the better way is IMHO to direct read from the imap
server, which can really good done by imapsync, when you want to sync
mailboxes.
message only in the Outbox mail folder. Could you tell me how to create a
message in Inbox mail folder, if possible?
The easy way: send a mail to the backend mail smtp server.
