Apple handles this rather well on Mac OS X and iOS using a Notes mail folder. Their implementation allows for graceful fallback to something similar to a Draft folder in other MUAs (mail user agents), webmail included. It appears that Mac OS X and iOS senses this Notes folder and its enclosed messages and then displays them appropriately. Might I suggest something similar for SOGo?
