Thats what I mean - in short: the user logs in with his password and gets access to his ressources (Calendar, Cards), and makes something with that. Ready.
But where is the use for a master user, especially for synchronisation as Brian meant?
I.E. in Dovecot with their master user concept the master user logs in under the login of the user, but with the masters password. The dovecot master user have full access to the mailbox of the user and can do anything he wants.
A similiar behaviour has SOGo for the users which signed as superadmins in the config file. I understand the need for this, but not for synchronisation issues - I will understand ;-))
