Ok, thats normal. When deleting the cache file, it is recreated and
with it the datastructures are new (helped me in a similiar situation)
After 20 minutes it's about 7MB in size and TB is (almost) freezed and
disk is spinning and spinning....
Hm, 20min for 7MB?
As I deleted the cache (rough method ;-) ) it lasts maybe half a
minute for 6 Calendars on two serveral servers, the exported ics are
having 170KByte, the cache file had ca. 500KByte.
I did restart it with cached mode (and deleted cache.sqlite file).
After I did come back 2hours later it was finished and the cache
file has now 8.9MB in size
Loading the calendar from the server (non-cached mode) takes 10-20 seconds,
creating a cached copy takes more than 20 minutes for the same calendar
data.
So it looks like there is a problem in the initial cache fill.
Perhaps after each insert it rechecks the already existing content
and as this grows with every insert time explodes logarithmic....
