I ask this question as we have found on a few occasions Thunderbird 3.1 locks up solid when using remote address books served our via sogo, not ldap. Others have found this to be the case on this list in the past. I'm wondering if Thunderbird 10 is any better, or whether its still an issue.

Effectively, you type in the compose field an address, and the whole of Thunderbird seizes up. Its also related to these particular bugs:-
