I have noticed that if a user shares their calendar and changes the
name it is automatically changed on the others calendars they are
sharing with also. I would like to do this for my resources. If the
resources had a password I could log in as I know I could change it
there. However I prefer not to give them a password for security
reasons. Is there a way to do this?
Didn't want this to get lost in the flood of TB10 plugin mails
yesterday. Does anyone have an idea how to do this without setting a
password for the resource users?
AFAIK there is no way to do this without setting and using the password
of the original owner account.
Because you can NOT delegate owner rights to other persons.
With owner rights I mean the privilege to rename, delete or share a
calendar or address book.
So you only may open an enhancement request for this.

Here is a thought. How about I use sogo-tool to make a backup of the
resource's settings. Then edit the backup to have the name I want it to
be. Once the edit is done use sogo-tool to restore the settings with the
edited names? Should this work?
